On Windows 7
- Click on the Windows button as well as on the R key, then, in the "Search for programs and files" bar, enter "CMD" and validate with "Enter".
- Once the window is displayed, type "ipconfig /all", then confirm with "Enter".
- Retrieve the physical address.
On Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8 Mobile
- Click on the Windows button as well as on the R key.
- In the input bar, enter "PDC" and confirm with "Enter".
- Once the window is displayed, type "ipconfig" and confirm with "Enter".
- Retrieve the physical address.
On Mac OS X
- Go to "SPOTLIGHT", then enter "Terminal". Select "Terminal" from the pull-down menu.
- In the terminal window, type "ifconfig" and confirm with "Enter".
- Retrieving the MAC address.
On smartphones:
Apple system
- Click on the "Settings" icon.
- Go to "General", then to "Phone" or "Information".
- Retrieve the MAC WIFI address.
Android system
- Go to "Settings" and then "About Phone" (then "Status" depending on the version).
- Click on "Wi-fi settings".
- Retrieve the MAC WIFI address.
